Since the dawn of the Pokemon Clans, there has been a group that had gone through much tragedy to get where they were today. SnowClan, ForestClan, EarthClan, and FieldClan all started because of natural disasters destroying their old homes. It has been many seasons since they settled, and now everything is fine...

Or is it?

The arrogant EarthClan has started to want more land. They wish to expand onto the gentle SnowClan's territory. Will they muster up their strength and let this happen? ForestClan and FieldClan are locked in their feud that has been going on for seasons. How will it be settled? Different ideas have been coming in, and the four Clans seem to be split on the decisions. An odd prophecy from LifeClan is troubling the healers as well.

Beware the never-sleeper
Defeated once but not again
He comes to destroy the living and the dead
With his army of those below.

What will happen? Who will you side with? What does the prophecy mean? You'll find out here.

Welcome to Pokewarriors: the Promise Land.

Leaf-fall: Prey is still scurrying around, but are always hording food for the upcoming leafbare. The leaves of the trees are turning magnificent and beautiful colors before falling to the ground in large piles. There has still been little rain. SnowClan's lake is getting lower each passing day. ForestClan's trees can easily catch on fire. In EarthClan territory, water is even harder to come by. Finally, in FieldClan territory, the grasses are becoming dry. For some unknown reason, the weather is not cooling. In fact, it is reaching an all time high. Fire type attacks seem to be effected by this in a good way, the opposite going for ice attacks.

 History of the Clans

In the beginning, the land was purely separate. There were four groups of Pokemon, though none knew that the others existed. In one corner was a mountainous area with a large lake in the middle, known as Snowtops. Living there were ice, water, steel, and dragon types, watched over by the gentle Articuno. in another corner was a forest, known as Greentrees. The loyal Shaymin watched the grass, bug, dark, and ghost types there. Far away in a distant corner was a rocky area known as Hardlands. There lived fire, fighting, rock, and ground types protected by the arrogant Groudon. Lastly, in another corner, was a wide open, hilly moor with sparse trees known as the Mindhills, home to psychic, flying, poison, and electric types. They were watched by the noble Raikou.

Times were peaceful. There was no fighting, and peace ruled the lands. No hard decisions needed to be made, and sickness was easy to cure. That was when the land erupted into chaos. In Snowtops, the sunlight grew too strong, menting the snow and ice and evaporating all the water. In Greentrees, the forests burst into flames, killing the trees and nature beyond healing. Hardlands was swept by floods, eroding quickly. Land was too weak to step on, as well as too damp or dangerous for most of the inhabitants. Tornadoes became far too common in Mindhills, destroying the land and taking lives.

All Pokemon thought that the end was near, but their watchers rejoiced. Each had been sent a sign that a promise land was secured for them, abundant in prey and berries, as well as safe from natural disasters. Each of the four legendaries led their survivors on the long journey, unaware that others would be there. When they arrived, they were greeted by lands almost exactly like their old homes, yet much better. On the night of the full moon the legendaries were contacted by a voice, which told them to bring their groups to a ravine. The voice was the some one who had given them the signs.

When they arrived at the ravine in the middle of the four territories, they ran into the other groups. None knew that other Pokemon existed and were completely in shock. For the first time, they felt the feeling of aggressiveness. They were ready to fight, though they only had hunting experience. That was when they were stopped. A pink Pokemon, Mew, floated down into the clearing.

Mew explained how each group has faced hardships and traveled equal distances to get where they were standing. She told them that there was enough space for each of the groups, though there would be challenges. She said that fighting would occur, but there was nothing that could be as hard as what they had recently faced.

That was when Mew introduced them to new ways. They became four Pokemon Clans, like Mew had created in other lands as well. The watchers of each of the new Clans chose the Pokemon suited best to be leader, who each chose their own deputies. Mew, now introducing herself as Lifestar, called upon a Cresselia named Moonveil to choose the healers. The leaders received their nine lives, everybody received a warrior name, and all were educated in the ways of the Pokemon Clans.

The Clans were named after their first leaders, who had been named after their territories. A Glaceon named Snowstar led SnowClan, a Sceptile named Foreststar led ForestClan, a Typhlosion named Earthstar led EarthClan, and a Dodrio named Fieldstar led FieldClan.

The warriors of the Promise Land had begun.
