News: A Zangoose attack, sudden accusations, and mysterious forces seem to be causing havoc in the mountains of SnowClan. Healer Shivertail has died and Powderstar has lost a life. With the gathering around the corner it seems like SnowClan is one of the Clans who are going to have to explain a large deal.

Since the dawn of the Pokemon Clans, there has been a group that had gone through much tragedy to get where they were today. SnowClan, ForestClan, EarthClan, and FieldClan all started because of natural disasters destroying their old homes. It has been many seasons since they settled, and now everything is fine...

Or is it?

The arrogant EarthClan has started to want more land. They wish to expand onto the gentle SnowClan's territory. Will they muster up their strength and let this happen? ForestClan and FieldClan are locked in their feud that has been going on for seasons. How will it be settled? Different ideas have been coming in, and the four Clans seem to be split on the decisions. An odd prophecy from LifeClan is troubling the healers as well.

Leaf-fall: Prey is still scurrying around, but are always hording food for the upcoming leafbare. The leaves of the trees are turning magnificent and beautiful colors before falling to the ground in large piles. There has still been little rain. SnowClan's lake is getting lower each passing day. ForestClan's trees can easily catch on fire. In EarthClan territory, water is even harder to come by. Finally, in FieldClan territory, the grasses are becoming dry. For some unknown reason, the weather is not cooling. In fact, it is reaching an all time high. Fire type attacks seem to be effected by this in a good way, the opposite going for ice attacks.

Personality:
Russetpaw is an overly-bubbly apprentice. He loves to have fun and can’t stay still. He is easily-excited, and is always happy. He tends to trip, and is somewhat clumsy as well. Sometimes his speech is a little trippy, because he is young. He thinks of Raggedpelt as more than a mentor, but a motherly figure as well. As he lost both of his parents early on, he knows Raggedpelt will be there for him for a hopefully long time. He believes all of her anger and grumpiness is a show of affection and love, and thinks everything she does is because she loves her Clan, and her apprentice! Oh, and did I mention that he’s blind?

Description:
Russetpaw is an oddly colored Mareep… but then again, what Clan Pokemon isn’t? He has the pure EarthClan colors, and is very adorable. He has smooth black skin, which is really made of short, smooth fur. His ears and tail are striped, pale and dark orange. The orb on the end of his tail is a very shiny pale orange as well. His wool, the best part of him, is huge, fluffy, and pinkish-red. His blind eyes are silvery, and very pretty. They stand out against his black pelt a lot. The orb on his tail is very warm, as is his wool. This is because these are where he gets his fire powers from.

History:
Russetpaw’s history is a rather sad one, that you couldn’t tell by seeing him today. He was born to two EarthClan warriors, Mysteryheart and Rhoanback. He was the only of his litter, but he wasn’t supposed to be. His mother was to have a litter of three, but she died in her kitting, before Russetkit’s siblings were born. Rhoanback never had a chance to meet his kit, his body was crushed when a Tyrannitar attacked him while hunting. Russetkit was taken care of by a Wartortle queen named Lavaflare, whose only kit had died from a disease.

Everybody knew that Russetkit was blind from the start. They knew he’d never be a warrior, and took pity on him. Luckily, that’s not what he wanted to do. As soon as he could walk, he would wander to the Healer’s Den and bug ask Raggedpelt a lot of questions. He couldn’t see the berries, but he could smell them, along with disease, from far away. Everybody was happy that he found a place in the Clan, and stopped pitying him as much. Lavaflare soon died from blackcough.

When he became an apprentice, to Raggedpelt’s dismay, he became the healer apprentice. Now it was his duty to be with her 24/7! They had to share a den, work together, and the grumpy Wigglytuff had to teach him! He first learned the warrior code, in depth, gaining him one level. He also learned the history of the Clans, since he loves stories, giving him another level! He was definitely ready to learn some real healer stuff now!!
