PokéWarriors: The Promise Land

News: A Zangoose attack, sudden accusations, and mysterious forces seem to be causing havoc in the mountains of SnowClan. Healer Shivertail has died and Powderstar has lost a life. With the gathering around the corner it seems like SnowClan is one of the Clans who are going to have to explain a large deal.

Since the dawn of the Pokemon Clans, there has been a group that had gone through much tragedy to get where they were today. SnowClan, ForestClan, EarthClan, and FieldClan all started because of natural disasters destroying their old homes. It has been many seasons since they settled, and now everything is fine...

Or is it?

The arrogant EarthClan has started to want more land. They wish to expand onto the gentle SnowClan's territory. Will they muster up their strength and let this happen? ForestClan and FieldClan are locked in their feud that has been going on for seasons. How will it be settled? Different ideas have been coming in, and the four Clans seem to be split on the decisions. An odd prophecy from LifeClan is troubling the healers as well.

Leaf-fall: Prey is still scurrying around, but are always hording food for the upcoming leafbare. The leaves of the trees are turning magnificent and beautiful colors before falling to the ground in large piles. There has still been little rain. SnowClan's lake is getting lower each passing day. ForestClan's trees can easily catch on fire. In EarthClan territory, water is even harder to come by. Finally, in FieldClan territory, the grasses are becoming dry. For some unknown reason, the weather is not cooling. In fact, it is reaching an all time high. Fire type attacks seem to be effected by this in a good way, the opposite going for ice attacks.

Personality:
Powderstar is a very mild Espeon. She doesn't seem to have much of a personality. She is calm and level-headed. She seems to make good decisions, for the most part. She doesn't talk much, and when she does it is usually to say something important. She doesn't get angry easily, and it is very rare to see her mad. She prefers not to fight, for she doesn't like unnecessary bloodshed. She always does what's best for her Clan, even if she dies.

Description:
Powderstar is a very pretty Espeon. However, she is also very simple. Her fur is an icy blue color, which helps blend her in with her surroundings. Her fur is thin, but still keeps her warm. The crystal in the middle of her head is actual ice, and is a light blue color. Her paws are very dainty and she is light overall. Her body is lithe, and she runs quickly. Her eyes are dark purple.

History:
Powderstar was born as Powderkit to SnowClan warrior Melodyfall and deputy Icecrest. Her father was proud of all three of his kits, Powderkit, Pechakit, and Saplingkit. However, he was most fond of Saplingkit, his only son, and tended to give him the most attention.

They had a normal, everyday kithood. When they were apprenticed, Powderpaw received the water-type Glameow Shimmertail as her mentor. Pechapaw received a senior warrior named Flakefoot as her mentor. Of course, Saplingpaw got no other than Icecrest, at their father's request. Their apprenticeships were normal, though many Pokemon thought that the mild-mannered Powderpaw should become healer apprentice, but when asked she said that she didn't want to. Shimmertail taught her how to fish, making her one of the few non-water-types that could.

Two sunhighs before their warrior ceremony, Pechapaw, Flakefoot, and Melodyfall died trying to save the camp from a crazed Abomasnow. Melodyfall's body was never found. Saplingpaw, enraged, blindly attacked the Pokemon, while Powderpaw planned out her attack and sent it away. Pechapaw was given the warrior name Pechaheart right before her ultimate death because she died like a warrior. That moonhigh, Powderpaw became Powdermist and Saplingpaw became Saplingflight.

Powdermist, as a warrior, was quiet. She was normally alone, while her brother surrounded himself with a group of close friends. She was a better warrior than him, however, being more concentrated. He was a bit of a show-off. Nobody knew she was great because she tended to blend into the background.

That was when the current leader, Violetstar, lost her last life to blackcough. Icecrest became Icestar, immediately naming his son as deputy. Powdermist knew he didn't deserve it, but didn't dare tell the new leader that. She fought in the background, silently doing her best. Shimmertail joined the elders and died of old age in this time.

A few moons later, something rare happened. A trainer came and caught Saplingflight, taking him away. Icestar was crushed. He gave Powdermist an apprentice, Specklepaw, and named her as his deputy, but only because he wanted another family member to take his son's place. He would have picked her if she was horrible. This was when Powdermist evolved into an Espeon by her choice. He stowed away in his den and rarely came out. That leafbare, he contracted a deadly, unknown disease and lost the rest of his lives to it.

Powdermist received her leader name, Powderstar, at the Bluerock. Her Clan followed her vigilantly, and she earned their respect. She led them for moons, losing one life protecting kits from another Abomasnow. Specklepaw, then Specklepelt, also died in this.

  • Powderstar trained Frostpaw how to hunt in a hunting patrol, gaining a level.
